Back in January, our very own Richard Kouwenhoven attended the Unconference at AIGA San Francisco’s Compostmodern where Sappi Fine Paper gave a workshop called Navigating Sustainability and Designing for Print.
Sappi recently released this video on a vibrant discussion about print, paper, and the environment, which featured Laura Thompson Ph.D., Sappi’s Director of Technical Marketing and Sustainable Development; Beto Lopez, Senior Designer of IDEO’s Sustainability Initiative and Allan Chochinov, Core77 Partner and Advisory Member of the Designers Accord. Participants engaged in an open dialogue about the entire print life cycle and left participants with a framework for making the best sustainability decisions as they move forward with their design work.
